I Needed You (part 1)My fingers held the handle of the umbrella tighter as I sniffed, my other hand coming up to wipe away the stray tears that slid down my cheeks. The street was mostly empty, luckily, so I was alone enough to not be judged due to my "situation". I stared straight ahead, not actually seeing anything, just listening to the sound of rain hitting the concrete and my own uneven breathing, trying to calm myself down. A sob accidentally slipped out as a someone passed by me and I quickly bowed my head to avoid looking at them, resting my umbrella against my shoulder so I could adjust my scarf, acting as if that broken sound wasn't me. After they were far enough, I lifted my umbrella once more and swallowed hard, finally able to feel my legs again, I set off towards my apartment. Feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket, I considered for a moment not checking it but, upon thinking that it might be Masaki, I sighed heavily and pulled out my phone.
Pray for LoveCherry trees swayed in the wind as a beautiful, almost unnatural voice echoed throughout the land. Bare feet stepped delicately on cherry blossom petals, hands pulling gently on the silk fabric over a black-haired head, and soft lips open as a song in a long forgotten language escaped them. Red shined bright, but full of pain, as the spirit opened his eyes, a gentle smile playing across his lips as he sang his sorrowful song.Pray for Love by ChuiKamashi
Petals brushed against his pale skin with each step he took, falling from the branches above. Step after step, the ribbons, a deep crimson color, that bound the spirit to this place pulled tighter and tighter around his exposed extremities and constricting his throat. Despite the pain blossoming in his lungs and throat, his voice was unaffected and his smile never wavered, continuing his peaceful song through the agony he felt in his body.
